The included Hi-hat also has a bit of the stick tip sound in the closed Hi-hat hit, when going on the more open hits and pedal the Hi-hat rings perfectly.

The Toms is spot on, they have a nice full sound that I rely like, and on the harder velocity hits I can nearly hear the tips hit the skin on the drums. The Black beauty 5×14” has allot of potential and sounds great even with no tweaks done. The kick has a somewhat light plastic sound and shines in the higher frequencies, it was not fully my cup of tea no mater what flavor (open, DPA) I used but that is a very personal feeling. I load the Default kit that is based around the PB Drum Co kit, and start testing things out. The Music City USA SDX is based around the two kits PB Drum Co and Slingerland.Īs you can tell from the list above there are is a nice list of extras included especially on the snare side.
